1) DRIVE UNIT

Installation	Good	No Good
① The best position for DRIVE UNIT is the highest location of the lines. ② Due to the back tension, the unit should be installed right before downward slope.
③ Do not install the unit at an insecure position for the loads, where chain pull is unstable.
④ Concentrate curve rails in the rear of the unit in order to reduce final chain pull. Place the unit in the rear of unloading point, and not in the front side of loading point.
⑤ KNOCKING happens, if there are more than two sections with minus(-) pulls for one drive, which should be avoided. (Note. Long horizontal section in the front side of downward curve has minus(-) pulls.

2) TAKE-UP UNIT

Installation	Good	No Good
① Install the unit at the location of minimum pulls of the rail chain, and at the rear of DRIVING UNIT. The rear of upward slop should be avoided.
② If there is a downward slop in front of DRIVING UNIT, the unit should be installed after the downward slop.
③ Normal Specification SPRING TYPE is applicable in case of regular specification with less up, down and horizontal curves or single DRIVE UNIT within 60 metres. SPRING TYPE TAKE-UP should be installed where allowable chain pull is less than 1/10 If more than one DRIVE UNIT is needed, the unit should be WEIGHT TYPE.(1 TAKE-UP UNIT per 1 DRIVE UNIT) If the lines have a drying furnace or high temperature chamber, customers need to use WEIGHT TYPE in order to maintain proper tension of chain.

3) CURVE CONNECTING RAILS

① If horizontal curve rails and vertical curve rails joins, CURVE CONNECTING RAILS must be used in order to avoid from chain twist. ② At least one pitch(appx. 1,000 mm) of straight rail is necessary.

4) INSPECTION GATE

① For the dual purpose of repair and checkup the state of chain, the gates should position at intervals of 50~60 meters at the lowest positions of the lines. ② Positions for the gates are right after DRIVE UNIT or right before or after TAKE-UP UNIT.

5) LUBRICATOR

• ① In order to maintain and lengthen the life span of chain and rollers.
• ② Customers should lubricate through the whole lines sufficiently.
• ③ Positions for installation is at the exits of such devices as drying furnace. However, it may be installed between unloading point and the exits to avoid possible troubles to the loads.
• ④ If no other troubles expected to the loads, the unit should be installed at the exits.
